A Lovely Present For My Beautiful Fiance - White Gold Cross Necklace
I wished to find my wife one thing very significant for our anniversary. This would be our first anniversary and I just really wanted to communicate my love and my devotion with an awesome gift. I was investigating a lot of white gold jewelry. This is because my wife likes silver better than gold, however I need to give her something of the greatest value. I come across a sterling silver cross necklace, but this isn't quite what I am searching for. I want something of value, but not quite as expensive as the platinum cross necklace I discovered!
I continue searching. As I am looking I think about my gorgeous partner. I think about how true her faith is and how much I respect her for that. I want to get her something which shows my admiration, my adoration, and my appreciation. I find a few very pretty white gold cross earrings, however she currently has a lot of earrings. Thus I keep looking.
I eventually find what I am searching for--a white gold cross necklace. It is plain, simple, and totally gorgeous--just like my wife. I am sure she'll adore it. I instinctively order it the moment I find it.
Unfortunately, the way that I am, I am completely confident when I purchase the gift, however the time between then and giving it to her I convince myself it was terrible, I fret and worry. What if a white gold cross necklace is not the perfect thing to give my spouse? She deserves the finest, is it the best I can do?
So, after making myself sick for two weeks distressing about my wife's reaction to her new white gold cross necklace, I present it to her.
I hold my breath.
She begins crying! Oh my goodness, what have I done? I nearly start weeping too, I try to relax her and next she looks at me, and she says,
"Dear, this is the most gorgeous white gold cross necklace necklace I've ever looked at and I feel blessed to boast a husband like you that will think to give it to me."
Okay, good, I can begin breathing again, she does not despise me... hang on, she really likes it...wow, I chose something really great for my wife? Well, that's what she says.
I now know that when I am looking to buy jewelry for my wife, I should always go with my gut instinct. I've known her long enough to know what she likes and she wears that white gold cross necklace daily, so I'm pretty sure I did a good job.
